Always Losing Reception

So at work things have gotten busier and busier. I am an Administrative Assistant to the President, Vice-President, and other co-wokers. I also have to handle the incoming calls. If anyone has ever been in a large office you will know that you have deadlines, lots of calls, and an "something is gonna go wrong" factor. Well, we are trying to find a receptionist at work so they can take care of the phones and minimal things because I am so busy and the phone has just become a nuisance.

We have gotten 50 resumes and have yet to find a suitable receptionist. My friend Tammy applied and I am hoping that she gets it. And gets it soon because I may have to have our company phone turned off because it interupts me every time I try to start something.

Lord give me patience...but hurry. And please throw in a receptionist.

Paige by Paige

I found out two days ago that Paige Davis on Trading Spaces was let go. Her last episode will be in March. TLC commented saying that they are going to a host-less show. I saw the pictures of her doing the mini striptease to raise money for AIDS and I'm sure that that has something to do with her not being the host of Trading Spaces any longer.

I think it is bullshit. Even though she has a "no-nudity" clause in her contract she remained fully clothed but showed her thong. Big fucking deal. She was doing it for a good cause and was not nude. What the fuck is the big deal?

I think that TLC is making a huge mistake. Majorly huge. I love Paige Davis as the host. She is mostly why I watch the show. I think she rocks.

I think we need to start a petition to say her. Little does TLC know but the show won't last without her.

Enough said.

Update Get Your Update

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say hello to all. Everything this way is going great. Job is going great. I have a sinus infection of course but other than that everything is all good.

Nothing else to report at the moment.

Mom's Surgery

Today my mother had surgery. She had a hysterectomy. She had a tumor the size of a softball on her ovary. The only thing that is bothering her is a migraine. I am so thankful that everything went well.

Other than that my job rocks and I rock at my job.

Again, I am soooooooo thankful that God watched over my mother during and after her surgery.

Happy New Years

I spent the new year in Baltimore with my family. I went to my Aunt Velma's for a party. Had a few drinks, chatted, woke the neighbors up at midnight, said goodbyes and came home.

I am so becoming such a homebody. And it is so so apparent to me that I am turning into an old person. Soon I will start wearing straight legged pants with a flannel shirt and orthopedic shoes.

Oh my God!

I have to go wash my mouth out for speaking such ugliness! Happy New Years....which sucks because this year I'll be half way to thirty years old! I think we should ban new years and just stick with the now.
